Our Staff

Our staff is a talented and dedicated group of early education professionals that love children. Through their combined education and experience the Preschool staff offers a warm and welcoming environment where children are able to grow and learn. Each staff member has been chosen for their education, experience, character, and ability to relate well to young children while working together as a team.

  • Jenny Foster

    Jenny Foster

    DIRECTOR & LEAD EXPLORERS TEACHER

    Mrs. Foster  has been a lead teacher in the Preschool since 2013. She has a Bachelor of Science  degree in Family Services  from Eastern Illinois University. With this combination of experience and education, the Board of the Preschool and the Staff-Parish  Relations Committee believe Mrs. Foster  will provide the leadership and continuity our Preschool needs to continue with its excellence in early childhood education.

    Meghan Craft

    FIRST DISCOVERY COMBO CO-TEACHER

    Mrs. Craft was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona and even grew up attending Red Mountain United Methodist Church. She graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education from Arizona State University. Mrs. Craft has been married to her husband since 2016 and has two  daughters, Hailey  and Delaney. She had the privilege of being a stay-at-home mom with them the last several years and is so excited to be back in a classroom.

    Jennifer Hershey

    FIRST DISCOVERY COMBO CO-TEACHER

    Ms. Hershey has been with The Preschool since January 2015. She attended Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she studied music education and vocal performance and is currently working towards her degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been an active member at Red Mountain United Methodist Church where she has taught Sunday School, EDGE night classes, ARTSedge music camp, and VBS for preschoolers. She is also a member of the church choir and praise team. Ms. Hershey lives in Mesa with her husband and her five daughters. She is excited to spend an exciting year with the preschoolers.

    EXPLORERS ASSISTANT TEACHER & OFFICE ASSISTANT

    Mrs. Pennington has been an assistant teacher here at The Preschool since 2014. She is originally from Vermont, but moved to Arizona when she was in high school. She has been married to her husband since March 2005 and they have two daughters. In her spare time  she enjoys shopping and loves traveling with her family. Mrs. Pennington is looking forward to a wonderful school year, watching the children learn and grow.

    Karolina Losack

    SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

    Mrs. Losack was born and raised in the Czech Republic, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work & Education in 2010.  Mrs. Losack has been is Arizona since 2011 where she met her husband.  She has two children, one of them attended RMUMC Preschool with a very positive experience. This is going to be Mrs. Losack third year with the preschool. She is looking forward to a great year.

    MUSIC TEACHER

    Mrs. Shubert has been at The Preschool since 2010, and has held just about every position. Her all time favorite is Music! She is thrilled to once again teach Music at The Preschool. She has been singing as long as she can remember. Being able to share music with our preschoolers brings her so much joy.

  • Mic Bagby

    Mic Bagby

    SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

    Mrs. Bagby was a Director and owner of a preschool/daycare facility for 15 years and has continued to teach and work with children since. She studied Early Childhood Education at Cuesta Community College. She moved to Arizona from California with her husband and two daughters. Mic is very involved in her community's social groups and enjoys spending time with her family. She is so excited to share her passion for fun, creativity, learning and love for children. 

  • Moppy Mansfield

    Moppy Mansfied

    SUBSTITUTE TEACHER

    Mrs. Mansfield moved to the United States from the U.K. in 1988. She has been married to her husband since 1983. They have two sons and four grandchildren. Mrs. Mansfield has worked with children for many years and finds it very rewarding. She has been at The Preschool since 2011 and is looking forward to another fun-filled year.
